Harnessing the Power of Change

Seattle Consulting delivers process and technology improvements that drive growth, reduce costs, and help you set new standards of customer service.

We were founded in 1994. From the outset, our goal was to deliver World-Class management consulting services in a fundamentally different way.

Our founders had tired of the traditional consulting model: Customers would see the Principals during the sales cycle and occasionally for project reviews. An army of consultants would do the work, while getting a lot of on-the-job training. In that model, the job of the Principals is to keep their army of consultants chargeable. Principals sell work, hire consultants, who constantly burn out, and mollify customers who only sort of get what they have been promised. Its a hard model on everyone involved.

Seattle Consulting takes a fundamentally different approach. Our Principals are our Principal Consultants (that's what the name originally meant). Our Principals, each with a decade or more of experience, are the primary people you will see on-site, developing and delivering our services to you. If we use associates, it is to support the Principals. No on-the-job training required.

We are extremely efficient both in assessing situations and in evaluating and delivering proposed solutions to your problems. We have developed assessment and implementation methodologies which we continually improve. Our approach is based on the work of Edwards Deming, who brought a process centric approach to re-building Japanese industry after World War II.

Our customers range from the Boeing's of the world to venture stage start-ups. We are very hands-on, operations oriented and very comfortable working in any culture and at any level of a business, from the shop floor to the boardroom.

World-class expertise, a focus on our customers and a fourteen year track record of success on major, transformational projects. That's Seattle Consulting. Let us help you Harness the Power of Change.
